1. Data controller

2. Data processed
During normal browsing, the server may process technical data necessary to provide the website and ensure its security and operation, such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested resource, user agent and any data contained in technical logs. If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, project type and message content. Please do not include special-category data or unnecessary information about third parties in the message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to information or quote requests: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Website operation and security: the controller’s legitimate interest in security, abuse prevention and proper service delivery (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), in accordance with the principles of necessity and data minimisation.
- Legal obligations: where applicable, compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
The website does not use contact-form data for newsletters or automated marketing and does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Providing data
Providing data through the form is optional, but fields marked as required are necessary in order to respond to the request. If they are not completed, the form cannot be submitted.
5. Processing methods and security
Data is processed using IT systems and technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. The form includes field validation, length limits and a non-profiling anti-spam check.
6. Recipients and technical providers
Data may be processed by the controller and, for technical needs, by hosting, email and maintenance providers strictly necessary for service delivery, within their respective roles and privacy obligations. The website and contact mailbox use Aruba infrastructure. Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
The website is configured not to load fonts, analytics tools or images from third-party services during normal browsing. The controller does not intentionally transfer data submitted through the contact form to countries outside the European Economic Area. Any additional technical processing depending on the provider’s infrastructure will be governed by the GDPR and applicable safeguards.
8. Retention
Contact requests are retained for the time necessary to handle the request and any pre-contractual relationship and, unless a contractual relationship is established or retention is necessary to protect legal rights, are deleted within 12 months from the last communication. Data required for administrative or tax obligations or for the protection of legal rights may be retained for the different periods required by law. Technical logs are retained for the period established by the provider and in accordance with necessity and security criteria.
9. Data subject rights
Where provided by the GDPR, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and withdraw any consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Requests may be sent to info@officinadelsito.it.
10. Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority.
11. External links
The website contains links to external services, such as WhatsApp. Simply loading Officina del Sito pages does not activate those services; if you choose to open an external link, any subsequent processing is governed by the relevant provider.
